in the last 30 minutes of this white house press briefing that im watching, i think mr. snow has successfully, and legitimately answered one question. i dont blame however, im sure every time a journalist raises their hand he sees his career flashing before his eyes wondering what may happen if he answers something improperly, prompting some sweet yellow journalism at his expense. he’s quite the artful dodger. and i happen to like him. despite the fact that he hasnt answered one question ive wanted to hear answered.

when black rebel motorcycle club wrote the liner notes for their most recent release (admittedly quite awhile ago) they definitely forgot to mention that they had been listening to bob dylan non-stop for the 6 months prior to beginning their recording. while a stellar record thats gotten me through numerous car rides and runs, the late 70’s rock influence is undeniable. the expectation of a third album catering to the tight jeans wearing hipster of hollywood and vine was almost enough to make me not want to check it out, but, fortunately i went for it, and was very pleasantly surprised.
